The Wally Locks Foundation
Founded by Mario Zaina on 27 August 1925, Wally took its first steps in its business inside a warehouse equipped with a few machines capable of producing a vast variety of products belonging to the hardware sector.
The Core Business of the company in the initial phase of production concerned cylinders and safety locks , with the distinction in two Brands: Wally and MZM (acronym of the founder).
In the period between the two World Wars the Company consolidates its position and acquires a certain importance in the Italian market , managing to give a decisive turning point in the 1950s by entering the foreign market .

The Wally brand, now an excellence of Made in Italy, evolves rapidly . The innovation of the production lines and the marked entrepreneurial skills of Ambrogio Zaina lead to the inauguration in 1950 of a new factory in Castelletto di Senago (MI).
The MZM brand ceases to exist leaving the command exclusively to Wally.
Currently the Company boasts a consolidated presence on the Italian and foreign markets and is recognized as one of the specialists in the sector . Wally products constitute a milestone in the field of safety locks still today.
Brand restyling
Wally is today a successful brand. The restyling of the logo tells a story made up of important partnerships and a business model based on innovation and customer trust , with the common goal of satisfying the needs of its various stakeholders.
